At Family Solutions Services, Inc., we have professional and high quality services, personalized for each individual’s unique needs. We are available for emergency consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our therapists and providers are professional, courteous and highly trained.
Outpatient Therapy and Counseling:
Family Solutions Services, Inc. has qualified mental health professionals on staff to provide outpatient therapy and counseling to children and their families seeking to resolve problems in living such as: parenting concerns, marital and family distress, grief, depression, financial budgeting difficulties, alcohol and drug related problems and trauma. Family Solutions Services also accepts many EAP referrals. Specialties include Life Span Integration therapy, Parent Child Interactive Therapy, Play Therapy and Trauma focused therapy. Most insurances, medicaid, and private pay are accepted.
Behavioral Health Intervention Services:
Family Solutions Services, Inc. provides Behavioral Health Intervention Services to Children and their families. These services include: skill building interventions that will assist the child with behaviors and symptoms associated with a mental health diagnosis. BHIS services include: Individual and/or Family Health and Behavioral Intervention services, as well as Crisis Intervention Services. The identified child is required to have Title 19 to pay for these services.
Mental Health Assessments:
Family Solutions Services, Inc. has qualified mental health professionals on staff to provide mental health assessment services within our agency. The mental health professional will complete a Behavioral Health Clinical Assessment to identify an individual’s medical and/or behavioral health needs. If needs are identified the mental health professional will make a recommendation/referral for needed services. Most insurances, medicaid, and private pay are accepted for these services.
Adoptive Home Studies:
Family Solutions Services, Inc. is licensed as a child placing agency in the State of Iowa. We provide placement and adoptive home studies. This includes completing the initial home study as well as providing families with follow up home studies. Each home-study is paid for by the applicant.
Child Mental Health Waiver Services:
Family Solutions Services, Inc. provides individualized supports to children that have severe mental and/or emotional health problems. These services are authorized by case managers for the Department of Human Services. These services are provided in the child’s home and in the child’s community. Services include: In-Home Family Therapy and Family and Community Supports Services. Services are covered by Medicaid.
